Matthew wants to write his first love letter. But finding the right words proves more difficult than anticipated.

Director statement

This experimental short was filmed on location in Niedersachsen, Germany. My first and foremost aim was to bring the film's message, including Matthew's rising emotional state, across without the use of dialogue. It developed out of the idea that many of today's conversations are held with means of electronic device systems. Here it seems that the decision to use text messages/SMS stands in no relation to the emotional importance of the content.
